I keep telling myself that the long wait maybe a good sign, at least it's not a rejection. I think the worst part of it all has to be the wait.. whether it be one day, one week, month, or longer.. Ever how long it takes still feels like forever. It feels like your constantly on the edge of your seat, catching yourself checking email.. wayy too often.. checking the mailbox (ON SUNDAY!!). Always waiting for just one clean break, that one reply that says YES I love you work. I guess as a writer that just part of the game.. you write, you submit, you wait! Maybe If we ever become big famous writers, things will be easier.. maybe they will be waiting on us, instead of us waiting on them! To others it may seem like a tall feat. But to me, it's like a rollercoster. At first you start off slow, unsure about how it's going to be in the end. But then you start to pick up pace, things are moving rapidly along. The words, and ideas flows faster as you reach your mount and begin to descend into a steady wave of excitement. Then all to quickly - it's over. You're at the end, and at first you can't decide if it was worth it or not. Yet you remember it, and soon you begin to cherish the wave of emotions that brought you to this point. More often then not, you can't wait for your next ride. Your next inspiration. Your muse. The thing with writing (to me) is not to force it. Relax. When the time comes you will know it and nothing will be able to stop you. Whether you record it or write it down on a piece of paper, you WILL get it down!

A.
