Meet Betty Woodrum, Poet

Betty Woodrum, Born July 27, 1977 born and raised in Lincoln County, West Virginia. By and loving mother, father, and one sister, and two wonderful nephews. She started writing about 7 years ago, after the death of her father. Her poetry tells the story of her emotions through the death of her father, battle with depression, lost love, and her everyday emotions in life. Poetry is her way of letting everyone know that their not alone, in this world of so many emotions, somebody somewhere has been there too. She has had many poems published by poetry.com As well as her first book Shattered Memories, Scattered Emotions recently published by Publish America. Was released July 16, 2005.
